My

Portfolio

Yes, my own portfolio is part of my own portfolio work.

I’ve decided to showcase the amount of work that went into creating my portfolio website and the massive learning curve I’ve gained by designing and “programming” it.

The

Progress

Old Portfolio

To give a better understanding of why my portfolio needed a big update,
here is an iframe of my old portfolio that YOU CAN CLICK THROUGH! I made this interactive frame by creating a prototype of my old portfolio in figma by first extracting the website to figma and then embedding it in webflow. I am super proud of how I managed to do it since I am not really a pro when it comes to coding but I am getting the hang out of it, hence why this is a major learning curve for myself.
Moodboard

I created this portfolio based mainly on journals. I didn’t want a moodboard that is just full of images and colors but something that also sparks interest and my own aesthetics. Another big factor for me was to create a nice layout and typography to tie my work together in a clean whimsical look and feel.
Sketches

Unlike my other projects where I would usually start of by sketching my ideas, here I started straight away using Figma as my wireframe builder. I started off by sectioning my portfolio in what I think I needed to showcase my work and from there I started playing with some ideas.

Below I ended up testing a dark and light version idea but ended up only using the light version since it worked better with the images
