One thing that people say to me all the time:
Sina, you have too many hobbies!
And this true but I genuinely love everything
I do and I absolutely love learning new things constantly (in the design world). Life is too short
not do everything your heart desires. My biggest love though is fashion - to be more specific, sewing and creating patterns are my favourite part. I come from a tailors family, hence my grandparents and their grandparents and their grand-grandparents had a tailors shop but unfortunately it didn’t pass to my parents. It lives through me and
I am proud to have
this skill in my DNA.
Originally I am from Iraq, my family emigrated to Germany when I was 5 years old. At 18, I studied business and foreign languages but I didn’t like it so I moved to the UK and did my bachelors degree in architecture and the built environment. I worked in a practice for a year but then covid happened and
I decided to change careers to UX design but ended up actually working as a visual and graphic designer and that’s where I am today!
